Involved in woodworking for most of his career, Marc built custom furniture for 25 years before being introduced to kitchen design. He brings a unique furniture makers sensibility to his work in kitchen design and truly enjoys the collaboration with the client to create a space that is comfortable, functional and stylish.
We are a Kitchen and Bath Cabinetry and Counter Top design firm specializing in reinventing existing spaces in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our mission is to help people make their homes safe, rejuvenating places that are comfortable, stylish, and functional.
Kitchen Cabinets by Marc Coan Designs works closely and collaborates with our clients on their projects. We listen to our clients concerns and desires and help them to create spaces that are comfortable, stylish, and functional. Our designers are involved with every aspect of the project from initial design to ordering and supervising final installation. This eases clients concerns knowing that their designer has control of all aspects of the project and will respond quickly and efficiently if challenges arise.
We were founded in Albuquerque, New Mexico in June of 2009 by Marc Coan. Marc had been a custom woodworker for 25 years before discovering kitchen design. He has been designing kitchens and baths for the past 9 years and brings a furniture makers sensibility to how he designs cabinetry for a room.

Finding that no two projects or clients are ever alike, Kathy embraces the challenge of helping homeowners express their vision. She has a unique approach to solving difficult kitchen and bath problems. Her custom solutions offer new design options for more storage, functionality and durability for the most beautiful quality cabinets and countertops. Kathy designs dream kitchens and baths that are installed quickly and effectively within client timelines.

A varied background in education, restaurant and wholesale bakery ownership, and museum store management preceded Pat’s association with the design team at Marc Coan Designs. Pat thrives on welcoming prospective clients to the showroom and providing information about the extensive personal service they can expect for their project. She is especially motivated by the knowledge that customers expectations will be exceeded by the cabinets and service they receive.
